After implementing a five-phase master plan for improvements on the campus two decades ago, it was time to rethink and begin a new master plan at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School in Wichita, Kansas. This forward thinking led to a partnership with the Steier Group to create the Spirit and Strength Capital Campaign. Goals for the campaign include many improvements across the school: renovation of the original Mount Carmel Chapel, construction of two new family and consumer science classrooms, new athletic facilities and additional classrooms. The Steier Group’s unique, hands-on campaign management model and creative fundraising strategies led to over $3.9 million raised, and the campaign exceeded the projected goal. The great success of this campaign means Kapaun Mt. Carmel gained the ability to fulfill all the major improvements for this project.
