Bishop Carroll High School, after serving the Catholic community of Wichita for more than 40 years, needed major updates and expansion. The southern Kansas school had grown to more than 1,080 students but did not have enough space to accommodate them, academically or athletically. It began a capital campaign on its own but eventually hit a roadblock. The Steier Group was asked to take over management of the fundraising campaign. Under this direction, the school increased its donor base and stretched beyond its initial goal to raise $10.9 million for construction of a sports activity center.
In a campaign completed in 2021, Bishop Carroll partnered with the Steier Group for a second time. This campaign, focused on retiring debt from an expensive HVAC system replacement. This debt reduction campaign raised $3.3 million, surpassing the Steier Group’s goal.
