To advance Mount Michael’s mission, the school embarked on a historic capital campaign, the first since 1975. The Steier Group led Mount Michael Benedictine Abbey and High School in Elkhorn, Nebraska, through a fundraising campaign to address academic, recruitment and campus needs. This successful campaign was the first phase of a much larger master plan and laid the groundwork for future development success for this abbey and school. The community partnered with the Steier Group for a second campaign eight years later. Both campaigns exceeded goal, raising more than $11 million.
