After a diocesan restructure brought two church locations in Boonville, Indiana, together into St. Clement Parish, maintenance needs for the two churches meant the community would need to unite to provide for all in this first capital campaign since the restructure.
St. Clement church leadership chose to partner with the Steier Group for a comprehensive planning study which informed a tailored approach to proceed with for the Paying it Forward: Our Hands, Our Gifts, Your Blessings Capital Campaign. The Steier Group offered a full array of services to guide the project, including an onsite campaign manager to work side-by-side with leadership for the best results. Though some expressed trepidation for how the two church communities would join together for this effort, parishioners responded joyfully to the call. An example of using the opportunity to strengthen a single identity through the effort, this campaign successfully surpassed the Steier Group low-end goal with full funding for all major needs.
