St. Patrick Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska, conducted a capital campaign in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Omaha‘s Ignite the Faith archdiocesan fundraising campaign. The parish raised funds for campus-wide improvements, such as repairing the church windows, building a new rectory, replacing the school’s HVAC systems and establishing a school endowment fund. A dedicated pastor and passionate parish leadership team set the stage for a successful fundraising effort. Through the generosity of parishioners and school families, the parish was able to meet the archdiocesan capital campaign goal as well as address the needs of the school, raising more than $1.8 million.
After several years, additional maintenance and repair needs in the parish had to be addressed. St. Patrick’s parish enlisted the assistance of the Steier Group for a second time. The On the Shoulders of Giants: Strengthening Our Legacy Capital Campaign successfully raised more than the projected goal for this church community.
